Sophia -- so you can include with A&S report

Dance this month --

Wyewood practice held on Thursday, Mar 21:

4 persons in attendance (including me). Did some dances for 4 persons
(Anello/ring, Hit or Misse, Cuckolds alla Row, Bizzaria d'Amore); also
did two 15th C English dances, Lebens Disinens and Grene Gynger. Looked
at new list of dances by region/time period to select dances we wanted
to do. Will use those lists to track what the group has done before and
likely dances might want to learn. some lively discussions on "what the
heck did they mean by that...?"

Other dance opportunities:

  - Madrone dance practice, 2nd Tuesday - March practice had 6 dancers
plus HL Ranulph as musician. Did the Old Alman and lots of dances for 6
including English Country dances Boatman, Beggar Boy and Picking of
Sticks.

  - Porte de ;'eau practice, 1st Thursday - I was feeling under the
weather and did not make it; heard it was much fun and they re-learned
Bizzaria d'Amore.

Known World Dance & Music Symposium is coming up in June -- College
Station Texas. This event is a lot of fun for those interested in dance
and/or dance music of the renaissance.

I'm available if anyone has questions about dance practices ...
