[Officers] Chatelaine Report, March 2018

Greetings,

I am pleased to report that in this first short month as Chatelaine, I have
interacted with several individuals who are very interested in what we do.
Details upon request.

I have received and gone through the Chatelaine box. I would like to update
the contents of the box, and (tying in with the above) that includes
getting business cards that say Barony of Wyewood, rather than Shire. To do
that, I just need a quick chat and maybe a couple of relevant graphics
files.

Also, I have been contacted by someone with an interesting request which I
would like to discuss. The following is cut-and-paste from the message I
received.

"I’ve pasted a message I received from a law school classmate that details
everything I know so far:

Hey Dennis, I heard Carrie was pretty satisfied with the outcome of her
divorce. Thanks for helping her out. I have another question for you that's
totally random. I'm on the board of the Kent Chamber of Commerce and they
are having their annual President's Gala and Auction on May 18. They are
doing a Game of Thrones theme and are looking for decorations, etc., that
fit that. I know from your Facebook posts that you are doing some of that
medieval stuff (sorry, don't know the proper terminology.) They are looking
for a source for swords, shields, etc., to borrow for decorations and also
may some "actors." They have little to no budget of course. Do you have any
idea if your group or other local groups ever help out with events like
this? I'm sure they would be willing to do some promotion in exchange for
anything, and it's a pretty fun group of people. Thanks!"
