FWIW... I did some digging and it looks like Redirect might be a better option than Forward.

By using the redirect button, the email gets sent on to the new recipient while preserving the email address of the original sender. This means that it looks to the new recipient as if the email was originally sent to him or her. This also makes it very easy to reply to the original sender.

Now that everyone has their antir.org alias setup, we will start using those and will phase out the wyewood.org that we have been using (thank you in advance, Geoffrey, for all the work this requires from you). I know that I am sending out this message from my own personal account and I intend this to be the last formal Seneschal message that I send on this account; going forward I will use wyewood.seneschal at antir.sca.org. I ask that you all do the same. Using the antir.org account allows for a history of messages (and files) that can be useful for  your successor.



If you are like me, you don’t want to check an additional email address but also don’t want to miss any messages that are sent in. My suggested solution – using forwards! This is also perfect for making sure that your deputy is cc’d on messages as well.



  1.  Login to antir.org
  2.  On the right-side of the screen, choose the settings icon, enter “inbox rules” into the search field and select it.

  3.  Below is a copy of the rule I have created. Use the appropriate email addresses for your account.

The rule created above will forward the message to the email addresses provided. I will still login to antir.org to respond from the Seneschal’s email address.
