[Officers] A question unto the officers

Archery has long utilized the scheduling and automated notification features
of Yahoo Groups to announce practices being opened or closed. I had sent
some updates to Beleg, but it appears they may have not reached his inbox.
I will send new updates based on the answers I get from this e-mail:
Given the recent notice about using social sites and such, it occurs to me
that archery practice being open or closed, or starting early, must be on
the Wyewood website in order to be official, and, as such, in order to
legitimately turn in scores.
I doubt Beleg wants to check his e-mail every potential practice day and
hurry to update the site. That just isn't reasonable. So, I am wondering
if we need to migrate the yahoo groups mail list to, say,
archery at wyewood.org or some such distribution list in order for it to be an
official form of communication.
I also wonder about getting the schedule onto the web site.
Beleg, at this point in time, there are no more Wed practices. Saturday
practices are 10-1, weather permitting, and may be opened earlier or closed
later at the discretion of the TAM running the practice.
That should at least keep us in compliance with SCA requirements and allow
scores to be submitted whilst we discuss the rest of this.
I thank all of you for your time.
Tymme Lytefelow
Chief Archer, Shirony of Wyewood
