May Officer Meeting Minutes

May 10, 2010



Officer’s Meeting Began: 7:03pm



Please note the next officer’s meeting is June 14 at the Federal Way Library
on 320th Street at 7:00pm.  Tomas also offered his home if we would prefer
to have it there.  Constantine will be running the meeting, so please send
any agenda items to Tomas and Constantine (jpfafman at yahoo.com).



Officer note:

* Please send any topics for discussion for both Officer and Business
Meetings to Tomas before the meeting so he may add them to the agenda.



Wyewood Champion’s Tournament:

* Champion’s Tournament will be July 24.  Menu is being prepared.  We will
have the champions tourney in the morning at the Archery site followed by a
harvest feast at the Des Moines FCS site.  If you would like to assist,
contact Wulfwyn or Elin.  ACTION: Wulfwyn please clarify the schedule and
where and when the A&S judging will be.



Officer Reports:

* All officers must turn in a monthly report to the Seneschal by the 15th of
each month.

* The Chronicler needs a replacement by the end of June.  If people are
interested in the position have them send letter of interest to Symonne and
Tomas.

* If you are an officer and your term of office is expiring, please find a
replacement.

* Officer rotation: May 14 is Ulrich; May 27 is Robert;  June 11 is Symonne



Upcoming Events:

* FCS on Friday – There will be a class “Intro to Entering in an A&S
Completion” in preparation for the Wyewood Champion’s event.   There will
also be a culinary this Friday.

* Culinary Symposium – The Kingdom Culinary Guild is scheduling a Culinary
Symposium in Auburn in April 2011.  They are requesting a focal point person
or an autocrat from Wyewood.  There will probably be about 100 in
attendance.

* Emprise of the Black Lion – September 24-26 - Grace is coordinating with
the Equestrian Guild.

* Saturday, May 15 – Demo at Marymoore Park in Seattle.  Esclarmonde is
trying to gather additional information.



Past Events:

* Mayfaire - There was a good showing of Wyewoodians – Dietrich, Eva,
Marcus, Symonne, Constantine, Evrard, Lianor and more.

* Sir Eddies – Many folks went and had a good time – Robert, Tomas,
Dearbhail, and Patrick (and more).  Robert’s cheesecake went for $70 at the
dessert auction.

* Wyewood at the Park was well attended.  Wenyeva brought treats and hot tea
(read much cheering here as it was chilly).  Symonne has volunteers to bring
gate sheets or find a delegate if she can’t attend.  We had three fighters:
Constantine, Heinrich and Girard, marshaled by Alec.





Old Business

* Please send Beleg all updates for the Website.  They need to be ready to
cut and paste to the website.

Notes:

* ACTION: Tomas will give Esclarmonde the address for the North Hill
Community Center.
