Wyewood Business and Officers meetings for November and December

Tomas reported that the Barony of Aquaterra has invited Wyewood to help at Ursulmas. This is something many Wyewoodians have just done in the past, and now there is an official invite. 



OLD BUSINESS:

·         Send Website info, in cut and paste ready, to Beleg. His PC is back up and running again.

·         The auction on December 10 raised $258 for Wyewood.

·         Yule Feast: Alianora got approval for the feast, Fionnghuala will be Feast-crat.

Future Events:

  a.. Culinary Symposium April, 2011. 
    a.. Site visit on Dec 18 – Miranda to go visit. 
  b.. Yule Feast, December 18, 2010 (Alianora, Fionnghuala) 
    a.. Current pre-registrations at 42. 
  c.. Wyewood has a date reservation on the Kingdom calendar for July 22-24. It is currently labeled ‘Mostly Messes’. Have received no volunteers to run or work the event. The name is not locked in, and can be changed. No site has been mentioned. Could this be when the Known Wide World of Sports could be held? 
  d.. May Crown has been awarded. 
  e..  July Coronation (2011) is still accepting bids. 


OPEN POSITIONS:

  a.. Chronicler position is open and accepting applications. Send request to the Seneschal and the Exchequer. 
  b.. Seneschal will step down by April, 2011. Application close (d) December 13 – at the meeting. One applicant (Constantine). 
    a.. Please send likes, dislikes / praise or other comments about having Constantine as the Seneschal to the existing Seneschal. 


New Business:

  a.. Earl Cire is recommending a ‘Regional Fight Practice’ in a location within the boundaries of Wyewood (Kennydale School). He said the practice will not be an official event on the calendar, and will be paid for and hosted by Madrone, with no site fee. Madrone will pay all costs, and will provide a donation container to defer costs. Madrone asks permission to use the site, with an invitation to all fighters that wish to practice. Also, it is requested to have other activities as well. These would include arts and science, or things the non-fighters can do. 
    a.. The attending populace voted to allow the use of our lands for this function. 
    b.. Depending on the feedback and success of the first session will determine if there will be more of these held.
  b.. Please send likes/dislikes of the combined Officer/Business meetings to the Seneschal


  a.. OPEN FORUM 
    a.. Alianora recommended having a ‘Hearth moot’ at the next FCS – Jan 14, so more of the populace could participate. 
    b.. Feast December 13: Helpers still needed. Oddny is coordinating servers. Anyone interested should contact her before the feast.  Help in setup of the hall would also be appreciated. 
      a.. The Baron/Baroness of Madrone will attend
